Kailey Aiken is a junior at the University of Tampa, majoring in writing and minoring in journalism. She is an avid reader and writer, and plans to pursue writing and/or editing as a career after graduating college. She has written for her local newspaper as a columnist for two summers now, has worked as an editor on my school’s research journal, “Q: Journal for Research and Inquiry,” currently writes for American Surf Magazine, and writes creatively whenever I can.

She is originally from Rockaway Beach, New York, where she spends her summers on the beach, lifeguarding, surfing, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
